Cashiers Area Chamber & Visitor Center to Host Community Open House

The Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to a special Open House celebrating recent renovations and enhancements to the Cashiers Area Chamber & Visitor Center, designed to better serve local businesses, residents, and the many visitors who look to the Chamber as a trusted resource when exploring the Cashiers area.

The updates reflect the vision of Executive Director Susan Sapienza, who sought to create a more welcoming and functional hub for both the business community and visitors to the Cashiers Valley. With generous support from the Jackson County Tourism Development Authority, under the leadership of Executive Director Nick Breedlove, the Visitor Center has been refreshed to enhance the visitor experience while strengthening the Chamber’s role as a central information resource for Cashiers, Glenville, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway, and surrounding mountain communities.

Among the most exciting additions is the Chamber’s newly enhanced member gathering space, designed to host meetings, workshops, and small business programming. The space will be available for Chamber members to utilize at no additional charge, providing a professional setting for collaboration, networking, and educational opportunities throughout the year.

The Chamber also extends its appreciation to the talented local professionals who helped bring the project to life, including Miguel Mireles of Mireles Landscaping & Services and Alex Denis of Alex's Seamless Gutters, whose generous donations of the exterior painting work and gutter installation — along with additional time and expertise on the interior updates by Miguel's crew — helped ensure the building reflects the pride and spirit of the community it serves.

Guests attending the Open House will have the opportunity to tour the renovated Visitor Center, learn more about upcoming Chamber programs, and connect with fellow business and community leaders through Cashiers411, the Chamber’s community calendar highlighting workshops, networking events, and initiatives designed to support the vitality of the local business community.

The Chamber looks forward to welcoming the community and celebrating the continued partnership with the Jackson County Tourism Development Authority, whose investment helps ensure the Visitor Center remains a valuable resource for visitors, businesses, and residents alike.

The Open House will be held on Thursday, March 19 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Cashiers Area Chamber & Visitor Center. Community members are invited to stop by, tour the space, and learn more about the Chamber’s work supporting local businesses and economic vitality.
